Well to be fair I do like my hoodies to fit a little looser than most people, but from what I can tell a medium might be a little tight on you. I guess it's just personal preference.

just got my villain in XL and HOLY SLIM...the L uniqlo hoodie I'm currently wearing is fitted and the villain puts this to shame (in slimness). I'd prob need to go up to XXL to get something wearable

will post fit pic comparo later

I ordered a S and from above post and the post where dude is 5'9 and 125, it seems i might have to size up

I am 6'2", 209lbs currently and muscular (powerlifter) and my XL Villain hoodie is real slim.

I actually like it, but next time I'd probably get an XXL.

I'll work on getting pictures for people interested.

It's kind of making me rethink the escobars though, maybe I'd need a XXL.

I emailed JE Co last week about the sizing of the Escobar and asked, based off the measurements for the denim, what the size 34 would equate to, and he said size 34 denim - XL escobar (or L for a more fitted look). So again, if people are curious, thats some info I got that I can pass on so these dudes don't get inundated with even MORE sizing questions.

Yeah man, please post a pic. I ordered an XL too and I'm the same height but about 15 lbs lighter.

I'm 5'9" and 160lbs and the medium is crazy slim. Definitely need to size up. Hopefully I'll be able to exchange this for a large and avoid the stress of refreshing this thread every 5 minutes until the next drop.

Very snug across the chest and forearms are pretty much skin tight. Shoulders seem ok though. I'll snap a couple pics in a bit to give a better idea.

Some fit pics of the Medium (5'9" 160lbs). Fully zipped for maximum sausage-ification (ignore post-run hair please)

That doesn't look horrible but I think a size up would definitely be better, totally see why you wouldn't keep it.

Also, there's no way somebody 5'9" and 170 lbs is a small in any brand but old navy.  I'm 6' and 175 and I'm usually a L.

I guess I'll comment on sizing now that I also got mine. Ordered the burgundy villain in L and like others have said it is a slim hoodie. However I actually like the slimness of it and if its anything like my villain pullover, will most likely stretch a little to a comfy fit. For reference I'm 6'2" and 180

I agree. The reason I gave this brand a try was their terrific fits. I now own several pieces from them including a grey hooded Villain which arrived today. Let me begin by saying that the quality of this garment for the price (SF Discount Included) is amazing. I am 6'1 190 I ordered a XL and its perfect! I love how the sleeves are slim. I hate W+H or Balmain's baggy sleeves. The more you wear those hoodies the more they stretch. This will most likely strech a bit but I am confident that it will never look sloppy like my W+H or Balmain hoodies now look.

And the hidden pocket is amazing. I just showed this to my brother in law - blew his mind. "Has that been done before?"

With brands like this I think you have to realize that they have a point of view. There fits are slim yes but they are that way for a reason!
