damn JE needs a kid line. Probably fit better for people asking for size small and x-small.

Small is probably good then. I think XS may be smaller than you are wanting.

It says 33/36"

The size 27's are pretty tight on me, though, and I think they fit perfectly.

Attached is a pic of the size small Lima sweats on the bottom and a pair of jeans that have specs slightly smaller (talking less than an inch minus the thigh area) of the size 27. The jeans in the pic have a six inch hem so I think the fit is what I'm looking for. It's hard for me to judge the length though as these are a low rise. I'm thinking a size 28 though. 27 prob will fit but I don't know if I can go around in tight jeans and wait for them to open up. Can you hand stretch them prior to wearing?

^ No, you cannot hand stretch them. If you want to break them in tight you will have to wear them in.

Thanks. The specs of the 28 are very similar so I'll go with those.

It was more so to get an idea about the jeans. That's the only bottom piece I own that I can compare with. If I had JE jeans already I would use them. If shipping was free,no biggie I would order them and try them out. If I'm paying for shipping, rather do my HW first. I needed to get an idea of now slim they really are. Measurements help, but visual works better for me.

Difference between Lima and Cyprus shorts? Just ordered the Cyprus since Lima is sold out but curious about the differences, if any.

Exactly - the Lima is the exact same terry use in our hoodies and sweats. The Cyprus is a heavyweight jersey, actually slightly heavier than the terry used on the Lima.
