A thread of Doc Holliday's got me thinking.

It had to do with "The best dressed on SF!".

That's not me (best dressed), but it got me thinking how my tastes have changed (hopefully for the better since SF). My last shoe purchase pre-SF was a pair of John Fluevog Black size 11D's. The toe is a little "too chiseled for my current tastes", but it might work for someone.

Fluevog shoes are pretty sturdy and are not complete crap! They are about $150 at Zappos, though I didn't buy these there.

Here's the Zappos link to their John Fluevog shoes:

And here are pictures of the actual shoes:

I wore these about 10 times. They are in great condition but not new. There are 2 little nicks on the front toe area of the right shoe(I think you can see it in one of the pictures.

I do ask for $8.10 via Paypal to ship anywhere CONUS via USPS in one of those pre-mesured boxes. If I can get the shoes in a smaller box and shipping is less, I'll just put the difference in the package. PM me if interested.

PS: I've been meaning to do this with a lot of stuff. Some of the stuff will be decidedly "Average", but some stuff will be relatively nice. I'd rather someone here gets use of some items rather than Goodwill.

Very generous of you! Fluevog obviously has some design skills*, and the shoes are pretty well made, it's such a shame that he seems determined to out-square Kenneth Cole.

One of my last pre-forum purchases was also a pair of Fluevogs - I'm hoping my brother grows into them.

* The construction on the above shoe is actually really interesting, it's a great alternative to Norwegian.

Heh, my last shoe purchase before SF was also a pair of Fluevogs, but they were the good looking ones here.

It's too bad the leather quality on them turned out to be awful though.
