who as mentioned above basically is my feet twin, the fit is great. Hiro's MTO shoes are made to the same standard as his bespoke shoes, just on standard lasts (semi bespoke is also available). The level of craftsmanship is superb.

Hiro's international last is very well balanced IMO:

Amazing. how can we place orders?

I'd say that they're based off of my feet. The last has since been generalised quite a bit, but the fit is obviously close to bespoke for me. I needed a few changes in the end to receive optimal comfort. I shall experience the result on Monday!

Your pair looks great, Jesper. Hope I won't regret not going for the same!

Thank you! Yes it's very clean.

Cheers! ATM you have to visit Japan or one of his trunks in Europe or the US to try on fitting shoes, I think. But as Stefan mentions above there might be plans for other options.

Thanks! Yes "based off" is probably a better phrasing. Mine are just MTO, no changes. They were quite snug when putting them on for the first time but after been wearing them for an hour or two they already have stretched and adjusted quite well so think they will become really good. Only place I feel I might have to do something about is my hallux valgus area on the right foot, which is always the problem, and for future orders I will adjust this from start.

Hope your's will work well!

In other words, they`d fit me perfectly? If Jesper is your foot/last-twin, then I must be a close relative..

Haha Daniel!

Yes. I've added a fitting piece for a bit more width. For you, I'd probably go up a width (new last he recently made), and size 10!

Do all you ex-Vikings have identical feet? - To sell shoes in Scandinavia must be a doddle! biggrin.gif

This one is purely by chance. Most popular sizes are between 7.5-10, but goes all the way from 6-13. Even lower/higher in extreme cases. I'd say the normal width of for example EG is E or F.

Their "Dover" version looks amazing. Would love to try one on in store some day.

More pics to come in better light, but liking the waist on this new pair.

No need to take better photos when the Kawaguchis already have!

The fit really does feel perfect at this point. Will wear them a bit and see how they develop, but next pair has been put in motion!
The Kawaguchis really are superb people.

^I love a true chiseled toe but feel that this one is a bit too wide in the front. Maybe I'm too coloroued by TG73 (which I'm a fan of), Cleverley also does a pretty wide chisel that is not to my taste. Just my 2c

It's wide to accommodate my forefoot, yes. I asked for an aggressive Cleverley-inspired toe, so I'm actually very pleased with that part! smile.gif
