You mean Japanese oiled cordovan?

Here is one by Hiro Yanagimachi (from the recent exhibition). I think this one is by Shinki Hikaku. Not as heavily oiled as Horween`s, but still, a great sheen. (Clematis`s above is not Shinki)

A nice ad from the current MEN`S EX

Isetan Mens X Men`s EX`s Menswear Bespoke Extravaganza `Japanese Meisters of Menswear` (4/12~4/13)

from left:
Shigeaki Naoi: tailor
Hideaki Sato (Mario Pecora Ginza): tailor
Yohei Fukuda: shoemaker
Osamu Nemoto (Lid Tailor): tailor
Shoji Kawaguchi (Marquess): shoemaker
Hayato Osaku: pantsmaker (pantolonaio)

These 6 tailors and meisters are among the many artisans that would be in Isetan this weekend (to showcase their work and to take bespoke orders). Be there if you can!

I truly don't understand the kiltie. Shoe underneath looks good though.

Spigola is having a Bespoke Trunk Show this weekend in Tokyo @ United Arrows Harajuku Men`s (4/12~4/13)

Price has gone up (weak yen / new 8% VAT) to ¥430,000 JPY ($4300 USD)

Somehow Tokyo`s price is much higher than Hong Kong (The Armoury)`s price for a pair of Spigola Bespoke confused.gif

Any idea when Spigola is coming to NYC to the armoury?

^ Last time I heard from The Armoury NYC was around May 2014 (IIRC). Was also informed that the MTO by Spigola is about same pricing as StCs.
