Well, not quite. The CPs look like these:

But I'd be happy to get them from another brand as long they have the same simple sneaker look.

Sorry, can't help.

I probably have not had any luck so far but all my shoes were taxed and "caught" so far. Every single pair of them.

Thanks!

In my experience, yes, all of them. Might have not been lucky though. I know a colleague of mine who bought a pair of CJ and was not taxed. But I only purchase only one item, so that might be my problem.

I've had about 50% caught.

Well, I'm not really looking to stand out, which is why I'm trying to get a very simple white pair. I do know, however, that CPs and MMM GATs have become very popular these last few years.

I'm actually just replacing an old pair of white plain leather sneakers, which is why I'm trying to order another one from either CP or Kent Wang. I wish these sneakers could just be resoled.

Il Quadrifoglio Trunk Show @ WFG Kioicho, Tokyo 10/25~10/27

The talented duo of Il Quadrifoglio (Atsushi Qnai for shoes and Yuka Qnai for leather goods) will be there in person to take orders. Plenty of bespoke samples to gawk at, I would highly recommend anyone interested to visit and chat with the Qnai's. If you want to order, slots for bespoke appointments are still available (Friday is full though)

Full bespoke shoes (including shoe trees) priced from ¥231K JPY ($2350 USD).

Leather goods (coin case, card case, pen cases etc..) starting from ¥12K JPY ($122 USD)

Test shoes from the July Trunk Show (one of them in mine) smile.gif

Not Dover/Hove, more like the U-tips/split toes, French style.  i.e., seen in Saint Crispins or Lattanzi catalogue

Chogal's correct. Split toes, in line with other Italian cousins like Sutors and Besteti's, and also St.C. Just couldn't decide on details (length of vamp/ center seem, heel etc...). Did more email back and forth like last time. I'm seriously a bad flip flopper. Hope Mr.Qnai didn't go bonkers....
Anway, I'll be seeing them in 2 days. smile.gif

A few snaps from the Gaziano & Girling Trunk Show @ Hankyu Men's Tokyo 10/24
60 samples of Deco / RTW shoes, and a dozen or so Bespoke samples were on full display.
Bespoke price (699K JPY, or 4200 GBP) felt a bit steep, but the Deco price (¥230K JPY or 1450 GBP) seemed in line with the UK price (incl. VAT).

AppleMark
Bespoke samples. The hatchgrain wholecut in the center has one of the tightest waists I've ever seen.

AppleMark
More Bespoke samples. The leather/exotic swatches were also a pleasure to see. My favorites: Kudu, Mountain Ram, and Bullfrog(!)

AppleMark
A Swedish Gentleman in Tokyo: Daniel Wegan from G&G taking care of business. A pleasure to chat with!

thanks also to Mr.Fujisawa of G&G Japan
