That's a very expensive recraft.

At RESH, a basic recraft with JR soles cost ¥16700. Then theres the addition for hidden channels, UK dove heels, and brass pins.

Compare to C&J recraft using original lasts and directly into the manufacturing process.

Yeah, for around the same price, C&J can do a total refurbishing (relast, rewelt, recork, reline, resole etc...). smile.gif

If theres any advantage of doing locally, RESH does the resole in 2 weeks.

If you have a chance, check out the Hidetaka Fukaya bespokes at Tie Your Tie Aoyama (they have 30 or or Bespoke samples on display). They look phenomenal.

Unfortunately they didn't seem to be included in the sale.

Sorry I won't be able to to proxy for overseas members (I expect them to be sold out quickly), though members living in Japan may want to take advantage of this sale smile.gif

Trees in my size were all gone in minutes (past noon). I guess this is one of the few benefits for having big feet in Japan. lol8[1].gif

Yep great deal.

A few years back, SPIGOLA did a collab project with an eyewear maker called OBJ.
i didn't really care for them back then, but now I'm sure with all the Spigola craze, there must be someone who may want these smile.gif

In titanium, sterling silver, wood, and of course, leather (the hood portion and the pouch by Koji Suzuki)

Very steam punk.

Spigola is made famous by the Armoury, no?

Back up several ago it was all Il Micio Firenze

No, Koji Suzuki (Spigola) was the first Japanese shoemaker to become famous on this forum here.

Ten years ago, we had the all these jokes about him having a waiting list to get onto the waiting list.

Yeah, I think the original Spigola craze (10 yrs ago or so) was nothing like what we see today. There was so much hype behind Suzuki, despite being somewhat of a new kid in the scene. He was backed with so many orders, he stopped taking new ones for 2 years or so. lol8[1].gif

but I agree that theArmoury help put him back in the spotlight here on SF (the English speaking crowd)

Il Micio / Fukaya san probably has a larger exposure to the public though. Not long ago, he was on the national news circuit for being the favorite shoemaker of some star soccer player smile.gif
