Briefcase porn thread - Page 80

This isn't a reply to any specific post but just a general question for the group. I'm looking at pulling the trigger on a Henry Tompkins briefcase as seen here:

I've read good things about HT here and other forums and the price point and style is what I'm looking for, but I was wondering what other brands I should be considering for a $300-$400 briefcase with a similar level of quality. Most other stuff I've read about seems to be either much more expensive or cheap looking (at this price). Thanks!

Does anyone know a european brand that makes a good duffel bag, but is not as expensive (or good, I know) as e. g. SAB? For instance I like some bags from J. W. Hulme, Schlesinger and Filson, but it pains me to pay the extra customs money for stuff from the USA. Some english options could be Pickett, SageBrown or Maxwell Scott. Does anyone have opinions on these brands, and/or other options?

This is Gucci, and it satisfies most of my criteria (zipper, strap, simple, brown) except it may be a touch too narrow for me. Comparing it to my monstrosity of a briefcase (which is an 8 inch thick black ballistic crime against humanity, I'm nervous that I won't be able to get my computer + charger and various other electronic chargers in this guy without it bulging in odd places (Travel throughout week for work). This is 4 inches thick. Any similar type bags out there that may be a touch bigger?
