That is a nice briefcase. Good price . I just bought a sab (London tan as well). Otherwise I would’ve purchased this from you. These are hard to come by at this price and BNWT.

Finally went and saw it. I think the sizing is okay - but the proportions are just off - too tall given the width. Apparently Dunhill has never heard of the golden ratio.

I usually like their stuff but that one is quite ugly.

Wandered by the Berluti store and took a quick snap of new model briefcase(the model name escapes me) - it's pretty nice - the only color in the store was a merlot color but store said the regular Berluti tan (cacao) and black were scheduled for arrival in December.

Berluti Deux Jour?

Two things:

What's everyone's thoughts on color? Tan? Dark brown? I wear primarily dark brown shoes, belts, and dark brown watch straps. Would tan look weird with this?

What' a good height for a bag that is 17 inches wide? 12.5 inches?

^ I think a darker brown would "fit in" a bit better, but whether or not that's a good thing is up to you. I just popped into my local Mulberry store over the weekend, and their Oak color (I think that's what it was; it's the lighter brown that they sell) was gorgeous, and I would definitely choose it over their darker brown.
