I am going to swing by the Dunhill shop today or tomorrow, but per the measurements it is 15" long. That seems plenty large.

Be sure to give it a very thorough going over; few months back checked out a number of the Spring Dunhill collection and many of the bags were made in... surprise... China.

They weren't terrible quality, but the details/stitching didn't look so great, and the prices were nearly the same as the Italy/France/England etc. items.

Basically looked/felt like expensive Coach. NOTE: I didn't see this particular bag, however, and not ALL the bags were MiC.

I've definitely had mixed luck with Dunhill items. Just sold a coat that was very well made. Have an Amberg made bag that I use casually that is quite nice. But had a down coat that was a mess, and the clothing has gone up and down over the years.

I think they just need to decide where they fit in the scheme of things. Reasonably fashion forward with strong quality to back it up would be fine. But then they need to stop cheaping out here and there.

+1, or they need to bite the bullet and make a "diffusion" line. The problem is that they put "Dunhill" on all of them in the same way, even though they are clearly not the same at all. I don't mind "MiC" in priciple, except that side by side you'd see the differences in details... and yet they are priced the same.

It's also fairly hard to tell... while they'll stamp "Made in England" easily, the "MiC' badge is hidden on a tab down at the bottom of the bag so you have to hunt for it. You could probably tell by feel, though, as the leathers and linings are kinda iffy...

I thought I will give you guys a quick warning. Last week I purchased a SAB briefcase for 765 Euro (just under $1k aud) from - www.torquato.net
Now they have processed the payments - so it went away form authorizations and appeared on my statement today . And now I get an email form them saying they will not ship the goods to me.And asking me to send them money directly to their account !!! Its odd that they charged my card without shipping the products. Any legit merchant will only charge you once they ship . If they decided not to ship they will not process the authorization. Becos one a merchant process a transaction and not ship the goods credit card holder can raise a dispute. And merchant will have to pay charge back processing fees of any where between $30-$45.
I know this becos I work at a bank. Anyway I will raise a dispute against them tomorrow as goods not delivered. SAB briefcase under $1k ? Didn't think so.
I think these guys are frauds.
Honestly pissed off . My birthday around the corner and this was a gift to my self. Below is the email that they sent me.censored.gif

Dear xxx,
Thank you for your answer.
The address you provided was not confirmed by the bank. Due to the high value of your order, we cannot accept the card payment and had to refund the amount of EUR 765,08. You should be able to see this refund on your next crdeit card statement. We would kindly ask you for your payment in advance into our bank account before we can proceed with the current order.
We truly apologise for the inconvenience caused but hope for your understanding.
Kind regards
Torquato

That is scary. Run away. Even if you received the product there is something fishy going on there.

Yeah. Definitely.

They said they're refunding you the money. Isn;t it plausible they charged you, and had to refund it.

Though, a Brigg bag for less than 1k causes one to raise an eyebrow.

"You should see the refund on your next credit card statement..." when everything is online and instant?
