Someone else postponed their order so mine has been moved up in the production schedule. After all, there is only one guy hand stitching these.

I am interested to know your thoughts on the price point. I think the bag look's quite stunning but not sure if I could drop that much. Looking forward to your pics.

It's a Berluti "Deux Jours" bag. That model cost something like $2100 back in 2008 - which was the last time I was in a Berluti store - so I'd think that it would cost more than that now.

Berluti Un Jour: $3,300 U.S. and Berluti Deux Jours: $3,600 U.S. to the best of my knowledge.

Well, that's a rather "mammoth" price rise over the past four years!

What flap design do you guys like better? Only looking at the difference in flap design.... although the triangular shape would have to have a sharp curve instead of a curvy curve as shown. The briefcase would be dark brown with a stiff harness belting leather regardless. So sharp trapezoid shape flap or sharp triangular shape flap?

Can you get both designs from Frank Clegg? I have been looking at his bags for a while, and I also prefer the second design, but alas it is only available on the Lotuff site (for a slightly higher price and different leather).

With the rounded edge or a straight edge (both the flap and the bottom of the briefcase).
