Do you guys get your pictures printed? I found thats it's nice being able to pull out a tangible photo to look at. If so, what size would you get? 4x6, 5x7, or 8x10?

i printed a few of mine out at walmart the other day as an experiment and because it only takes an hour. as you can imagine the walmart printer is terrible. i think it started running out of ink on my last few photos. it introduced a lot of grain/noise that wasn't in the originals.

despite all that, it was really cool to have physical copies, and i mailed a few to my gf. i just got 4x6. i would reserve the larger sizes only for your favorites or for framing, etc.

i'm thinking about printing a bunch of random photos out and hanging up in my apartment on fishing line or twine or something.

here's one of my favorite recent ones. sunrise at the woods by my house.

Yeah, I have some family members who get prints from walmart/ walgreens and they look pretty terrible. I went through Mpix and they look amazing.

Printed photos are way better. I got a canon pro-10 on sale with rebate (canon frequently does rebates throughout the year) so I could print out my photos on artsy papers. Even for flipping through I like 8x10s.

The pro-100 printer (dye based inks) frequently goes on sale for free after rebate.

@thatoneguy, my brother and I went to an old warehouse recently. Definitely helps to go back to a location twice!

I took advantage of a frosty morning and ventured out on the marsh/fields behind the house:
