Here's another piece of fantastic miniaturization: A Nagra SN spy reel to reel recorder which measures 5¾ x 4 x 1".

I don't think it ever had a strap but it's a beauty of engineering. Apparently it was used for location sound recording, such as placed on a desk; the people at Watergate used the same machine too. The company still makes it today: http://www.nagraaudio.com/pro/pages/...s_nagra_sn.php
