as far as my understanding goes, you can cross list, but you can't put a price up that is not the actual price you are looking to sell them for on sf.
Someone should bring this to the attention of the mods and have them add that bit of information to the "rules/regulations" where it mentions EBay.
"If you are posting an EBay auction, when you enter your submission, list the price in your post as the price you'd sell *right now* to an SF member"
I tried to list it for $375-600, which was the opening bid and buyout, but the submission wouldn't go through listing it as 375-600. I suppose I would have accepted $500 from an SF member, but someone has already bid on the boots in the auction, so I'd have to pay a fee to cancel it now. :-\
the mods don't have to add that information because, once again, the price you are willing to sell them for on Style Forum RIGHT NOW is the price they need to be listed as.
no other price is okay, nor is the sliding scale you mention. if you would sell them for 500 then you should list them for 500 on sf.
EDIT: by the way, 500 is an excellent price. its cool that you are putting a solid deal out there for other sf members.Edited by closerlook - 4/1/13 at 6:43pm
