Wal-Mart Considering Withdrawal From Bangladesh
Wal-Mart is reportedly considering ending relationships with Bangladeshi manufacturers, planning to conclude its business by 2014. Wal-Mart has apparently grown concerned with reported labor practices inside Bangladesh, and has begun to implement a zero tolerance policy with its vast network of manufacturers. Wal-Mart is planning to look to Vietnam, China or Burma as an alternative.
