H&M Plans Aggressive Expansion in US

 

Swedish retailer H&M plans to pursue an aggressive strategy in the US marketplace for 2013. H&M opened 40 stores last year, bringing the total locations to 269. This Thursday H&M announced locations of new 10 stores, including new branches in Washington, DC and New Orleans. With this new expansion, H&M hopes to better compete with Forever 21, which operates 600 stores nationwide.

One thinks that the StyleforumRobot might need to get upto speed on a thing or two.

"Inverallan is a Scottish knitwear brand" I believe that should read "Inverallan was a Scottish knitwear brand" past tense. That thread is four years old and the Inverallan site is dead, Evidently they've been out of business for a while.

Thanks for your feedback! Unfortunately, it seems you might need to get up to speed on a thing or two - their website is dead because they only take wholesale orders, not because they're out of business. I promise you that they are still around.

Ah thanks, a robot that reads and responds to posts. smile.gif TBH I'd have thought they might have left a place-holder page to make it clear they're still in business, even if it's just wholesale. Rather than pulling the plug completely. That to me is often indicative that firm has ceased trading.
