I don't believe in capital punishment, but the designer should get a trial that gives them a very close run for their money.
Its not just bad style, its the universal DJ convention at issue. Getting a full DJ together takes time and cash, there are no shortcuts.
Each part of a DJ needs careful attention, it isn't trivial. Today my DJ pants are having buttons fitted to correctly support silk braces. Finding a good thick square end silk bow-tie (ok not an essential but looks great) is another other aspect. Silk socks, shirt studs, whether you will 'bib' your dress shirt: single or double cuff .. the only easy bit is the pocket square. THEN transporting your DJ without creasing all the silking (which will destroy it)
Do you now understand how far our the matador outfit is??
Advice: start small and build you DJ over time. Get the silk lapels and silked pants in place and over time add the rest.
