Dries is definitely amazing at pattern mixing. In this case the large patterns are visually interesting as a counterpoint to the smaller patterns and solids, but I don't think I'd ever wear them. Seems like they are exciting in the context of the show/collection, but probably not in my own wardrobe.

The drapey blazers with robe-y paisley shirt (?) things look super nice. I wonder if those are silk. One of the things I love about Dries is his use of navy and tan. Totally traditional colors, but somehow he makes them look fresh and youthful. He makes cool sunglasses, too.

I really like the moto jackets. These are on my "want list" for Fall.

Thanks for posting sipang, and cool to see the women's along with the men's. The motifs remind me of that Schneider AW12 rugs collection but with a different color palette. Can't wait to see this in stores and see the textures. Even the tee looks amazing.

We just got new Dries in, so I thought I'd drop a web gallery of what we got here. Our buy is usually relatively conservative, so we don't have any of the moto jackets or super crazy items. We did get some awesome pieces though. Check it out: https://picasaweb.google.com/109920551775292327012/DriesMenSAW13

^ sweet. nice stuff. I like the last bag and some of the shirts.

on the shopping note, I saw that Browns maybe or Matches has the brown tweed moto. But after seeing it up close, it's just seems too busy/overly designed for me. Maybe the navy if I find it. Will see what my Barneys got next week sometime.

I don't remember seeing the moto at Barney's. IIRC it was pretty conservative - all basic tailoring.

does anyone know how the dvn "Cutter" button-up shirts fit?
i'm not sure if size 50 would be okay (my chest is approx. 40" /100cm)

Then I saw a lady in the Asian grocery wearing something similar with the fringe hem and all

Do you have a pic? I don't know the model names. His shirts fit really short in the body and just overall kind of weird, in my experience.
