fall is kinda more clothes and less fantasy. it's much more wearable. if i actually saw anyone wearing the looks you posted in real life, synth, i'm sure i'd make some crack about how the guy takes himself really seriously. but the fall stuff, i'd probably think it's cool. so as clothes, i do think some of the fall stuff is good, and I'm pretty sure if I saw it on a rack I'd probably like it.
but as a show, it's boring. no narrative, no fantasy. just clothes. like you said. my biggest gripe about damir is that he hasn't really found a way to put the fantasy and the clothes together. it's kinda all one or the other. (just to give examples of what I mean, I would say Dries, Ann, and Yohji are all very good at putting the fantasy and the clothes together). maybe that's completely subjective. i just feel that way because i personally think a lot of damir's really high concept stuff just can't be worn in real life without looking kinda tool-ish (I actually watched the video of spring 11 earlier and laughed out loud at some of the looks because they were so dramatic). anyway, there's my inexpert opinion.
