Been eyeing the EG Dover for some time now, but I don't think I can justify a $1300 shoe. biggrin.gif

Let's see some other nice split toe shoes. I'll start:

Alfred Sargent Charlton:

BB Peal Algonquin (Crockett and Jones):

There is no substitute, you will just have to pay whatever the ransom Edward Green requires.

I realize that I'm posting a picture of a shoe that's no less expensive than the EGs, but I've always been partial to The Hove in the fantasy land that is my brain.

I think I love how asymmetrical it is, which is odd for me.

I have never really considered split toes before but I may just have to throw down for a pair of these Bontoni's on the right.

I almost posted a cellphone pic of the AE Delrays that I'm wearing today, but then I was shamed by my desire for those Alfred Sargents ...

I have two pairs, the brand it's not the most liked here on SF, but I bought them a long time ago, before registering on the forum.

No...

They are (from left to right) Peal by C&J on 317 last, Stuart Choice (Grenson Masterpiece), Peal by C&J on 325 last, and JM Weston Demi-chasse.
