Just got a pair of Scotch and Soda Ralston jeans in a 'slim' fit. Do these look like i'm trying to pull off wearing skinnys as that is not the intended purpose lol. Just turned 43 years old but still slim considering these are a 31 waist 34 leg. Am i pushing it with the fit ?

The fit looks great but that distressing looks awful.

Might be the lighting as the distressing isn't as bad as it looks in the pic

Keep in mind that you're posting on a forum that loves skinny jeans. I don't see the need to categorize things as being slim or skinny, it's a spectrum. Your jeans are definitely on the slim side of slim though

They look tight and the fact that one shot shows they stick to the curve of your leg is a little disturbing.

Fantastic fit. Your age is irrelevant if you feel good in them. Like others said, distressing looks a bit extreme. It all comes down to you knowing they look great but whether you feel comfortable in them. I worked for many years in the music industry where men in their 40's dressed like the guys in their 20's and pulled it off and no one would bat an eyelash. It's a frame of mine I suppose. If you think they're too skinny, you'll feel uncomfortable in public. I hope to be in your shape at 43 so I'm able to pull off a fit like that.

Tried to get some more shots of this dodgy distressing in natural light with a better camera than my previous phone pics. Verdict still the same guys ?
