Nike shoe sizing (blazer hi vintage suede)? Not sure about what size id be, around a US11 for hi top chucks... bit confused as on trebien also lists a US10 as Euro 44?
^^sounds about right. us 11 = 45, us 12 = 46. Without having any experience with the said nike shoe, i´d get a size 11,5 or 12 in the nikes. Vintage style basket shoes often fit somewhat roomy, and Nike retro (non running) sneakers usually are standard sized.

Any recommendations for a nice pair of dirty bucks (a/k/a tan suede oxfords with red rubber soul)?

I've already considered (and not jumped at) these:

O'Connell's - these seem okay - http://shop.oconnellsclothing.com/casual_shoes.php
Brooks Bros - a $200 made in China model - http://www.brooksbrothers.com/IWCatP...ault_color=Tan
LLBean - nope
Bass - just don't like'm
Nordstrom "Carson" - eh, they're okay in person - http://shop.nordstrom.com/S/3007774/...bo=6015231&P=1
Yuketen - nice but I really just want a red rubber soul -- not a thick leather/rubber combo; and I'm also concerned these might be too wide in the heel area - http://item.rakuten.co.jp/lotusroots/09ssyuk05/

Any advice on these, or other shoes you can recommend, would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

That's too bad. What didn't you like about them? The mediums actually fit me really well. Really slim but not quite as tight as my april 77s to where i can still wear them in dressier situations. Would need to be hemmed if i got them though

Even with me wanting so much to like them I didn't buy them.
I only had a Small to try on and the fit on the legs were great but the waist was about 2" too big. I was thinking about getting an XS ordered but I could see the outline of the pockets big time in the Small and figured if I sized down again I would have horrid pocket outlines. They looked like awesome trousers, I wanted to buy them, but I've got a small waist and big thighs from the gym and they just weren't working on me.

Any suggestions on a dark colored suede wing-tip? Similar in shape and price to this: http://www.shoes.tresbienshop.net/en...ummer-grey.php

I really need a Messenger or backpack fast, need to place the order tonight. I've looked over UrbanOutfitters bags and found a Ben Sherman that is decent. I'm not asking for someone to find me a bag to buy but any other sites that sells bags for around $100?

Check out Beckel Canvas Products: http://beckelcanvas.com/products_typ...ucts_type_id=2

They're located in Portland, Oregon, and make all their stuff onsite. Here's some info on Beckel from A Continuous Lean: http://acontinuouslean.com/2009/04/2...nd-oregon-usa/

Don't seem to have a great appeal around here (and seem to have hit on a popularity cruise that turns this board off to them...notice the hipster riding along on their website's first page) but I love my timbuk2 bag. I've had it since 2001 or so and it is still going strong. I wouldn't mind if it wore out so I could pick new colors (10th grader me wanted a different aesthetic than current me) but it looks like it still has many years left in it.

For about $100 you can get a custom built bag based on whatever you want. I have the bombproof ballistic nylon although there were other options when I bought it...

I can't speak for anyone else, but I don't like them because they're ugly.

Dude, this is exactly what I want. They don't seem to make a standard messenger bag though they seem open to making whatever I want. edit: I bought the Possibilities bag with shoulder strap, thanks so much for that link
