anyone care to take a guess/tell me what brand Radzinsky's glasses might be, or something similar ? at first I thought Bausch & Lomb Wayfarers, but the sides of the frame seem off to me...

I'm just wondering if anyone has tried to pull off the button down fully open with no undershirt like young Morrissey did?

It's ... blue.

In theory, could a tailored Brooks Brothers ("slim" fit) shirt fit just as well as a tailored J. Crew shirt? I really like their patchwork madras shirts...

I have some questions to ask about sizes. I currently have a polo, but I think it's a bit too long. From what I've seen in the pictures, the length of a polo usually goes down close to the crotch area (sorry for the crude way of describing things). Shouldn't polos go down to the waist only? I'm thinking of getting my polos shortened so that it'll go down to my hip/waist area like my t-shirts does. Anyone here have comments on the appropriate length of a polo when worned?

Alright, I wasn't sure if I should make this topic a new thread considering there were other threads very similar and I'd probably get bitched out, but anyway...

What would your ideal summer closet include? Specific items or just general pieces are fine. I'm just trying to brainstorm what are the most essential pieces I should get for this summer.

What is the downside to perforated leather? I am considering some perforated leather CPs and I am wondering if I will have wet feet in the rain or if you can't wear them in winter.

fwiw, "perforated" CPs aren't actually perforated; there's a solid layer underneath the perforated one. On true perforated shoes, though, the downside is pretty much what you would imagine.

So i've never ordered anything internationally and I don't really understand the whole 15 percent VAT deduction thing. So is it sort of like a 15 percent discount from my total price? Thanks in advance.
^ VAT (value added tax) is a tax that is charged in the European Union, and many online stores there will include this tax in the list price rather than adding it at checkout. If you do not live within the EU, however, you do not need to pay this tax, and can deduct the tax during checkout, so it essentially acts as discount.

I've been bulking lately, and need some recommendations for jeans/chinos/Ts/shirts that are slim at the waist, but generous in the hip/leg/chest. Scoured the stores here in Ithaca, but (as usual) no luck.

Edwin 505 29W works fine, but hard to find consistently on eBay/SF/etc. No idea where to go with T-shirts. Thanks!

------------------------------------
Data:

Body measurements:
Waist: 29"
Thigh: 21"

Personal collection:
Edwin 505 29W: 13" leg hole -- good fit
Lucky straight fit 29W: 11.5" leg hole -- too tight

AA S Tee -- fits OK, but want looser option
BR XS Tee -- sleeve/body length too short, want looser

How come the street/sneaker/hiphop/skate subcultures don't really have representation here? I'd consider stuff ala hypebeast and similar forums to be "streetwear & denim", but the only sneakers that are SF approved, for example, are Common Projects, when those other street forums would beg to differ. Just wondering thats all.
