New question.

Uniqlo doesn't have jeans on their website. They...uh...still have jeans in stores, right?

Thanks!

Alfs are similar to SSDS in sizing but that said I'd go down one to accommodate stretch. Also, Alfs are more of a regular fit jean; keep this in mind as sometimes skinnier people will try to size down to try to achieve a slim fit on a model that is not slim to begin with.

I spoke broken german and got a pair from ebay.de without any trouble. Just pull up an online translator on the auction listing to make sure they accept paypal and ship overseas. It's pretty straight forward.

After a pair of jeans has been soaked in very hot water a few times, how much more will they shrink if I throw them in the drier with my t-shirts and stuff with heat?

Somebody's had to have tried this. I to throw in an old pair of RRL selvage that I picked up on the cheap a while ago and wear for various lounging, outside work activities, but I've only soaked them.

I don't really care if they lose a lot of indigo, but I don't want them to shrink so much that they don't fit me.

I like having a kick-around pair of decent jeans.

^^^ Why can't you just slimply air them out to dry? Why do you need to throw them in the dryer?

If I'm a size small in J.crew/gap clothing, should I go for medium or large in uniqlo japan stuff? I'm a little under 5'10'' and weigh 140lbs. Thanks!

To be honest, it's just sort of a pain in the ass. Especially in the winter with overcast, shorter days. They sometimes freeze when I put them outside.

These aren't really "going out" pants. I've mainly used them for kicking around the house. Sort of like, a step up from pajamas for me.

I don't really care too much what they look like. I just want to be able to throw them in the washer and drier with sweaters, t shirts, and khakis and stuff to make it easy.

How much does the waist and inseam shrink after being thrown in the drier with heat on? They've been soaked a few times in hot water which got some of the shrinkage out. Will the drier do that much more shrinkage? They fit great right now.

My only worry would be the inseam, really. You can try drying it on "delicate" and see how that goes. Hot water is nothing compared to what a half-hour or longer can do in a dryer.
