yeah, I felt I'd heard it was EG, but was like WTF? why are they advertising this shirt that can be found nowhere on their site?

Yeah, I think Adam's right. What confuses me is how the color looks so much richer on the model than from photos I've seen. Here's one from Oi:

Read one of the posts saying that raw denim does not look good with all clothes.
So, I was wondering, what should you NOT wear with raw denim.

And, what looks best WITH raw denim?

I've seen some RRL polos on eBay, which in my opinion are nicer than the Polo Ralph Lauren ones. Also, Fred Perry.

Pretty much wear what you want. I personally don't like ties with jeans but to each their own. Anything else is pretty fair game.

I personally think jeans and ties can be worked IF you have a nice blazer.

Maybe 1 out of 100. The rest of the time it comes off very contrived and douchey. Just ask braid.

Ouch. I think he may be referring to a post or two of mine where i commented that not everything looks good with raw denim. Let me add that there are lots of different types of raw denim. Tones and textures can look very different from acnes to pbjs and should be worn accordingly. Personally, i don't own any raw indigo denim. The closest thing i have are my black j.lindenbergs with white weft making them look like raw jeans. I think raw indigo jeans work best in either a very safe but well fitting style (braid) or more workwear, americana, westerny type stuff. Otherwise, you have to pay careful attention to the fit, finish, details, and denim of the raw jeans or your jeans won't vibe right. I'd stay away from the black blazer raw blue jeans thing. Rarely does this look good even though it's the go to look of the fashionably inept.

I guess the raw denim I am most interested in incorporating into my wardrobe
is the APC cure. It's got no fancy backpockets. Just plain slim,skinny denim.
I've been wearing it with some CP boots lately with the jeans tucked in
and though some SFers have opposed doing this, I feel it can be worked with
a long peacoat or some military jacket that sits just above the waist.

more on the "finish, details, and denim" part of raw-denim?
Are you talking about heavy and light raw denim?
Sanforized or not?

PBJ denim looks a lot different than acne raw denim. There are lots of different shades of indigo and textures to raw jeans. With the style you're describing you should definitely stick to apcs, acnes, diors, and other more flat denim. Don't be afraid to play around with non-raw jeans though. Black overdye, different shades of grey, some of the drkshdw washes, etc... Raw indigo jeans are a good starting point for basic flattering jeans but they're not the only things that can look good.

By all means experiment with different looks. Not sure the look you're going for, but i tuck jeans/trousers into sneaks and boots occasionally and it can work, but sometimes hard to make it look good and not affected. I've tried and failed with a few combos before finding some that work for me. That's cool you're thinking in terms of entire concepts like that, which a lot of newer posters fail to do. The look you described sounds a bit too much like some of the korean yestyle/zipia photoshoots i've seen, but i'd be curious to see your take on it. Whenever you assemble something and get the confidence to post, throw it up in waywt thread

hey, ive been wearing my ESODs for about 8 months now and i need some advice on washing them. any tips from personal experience would be great, such as water temp, detergent recommendations, etc etc. just anything that comes to mind, thanks

Definitely going to try on other stuff for my legs other than raw denim. I've become more interested in some fine wool trousers and I like those April 77s I've seen you wear, chrono. I like the feel of raw denim, but there's a lot of pants out there that'll look better. You sure have a keen sense about style because I fall oh-so-perfectly into that typical Korean boy. Haha, now I must work very hard not to look too Korean. Anyways, when I get the nerve, I will definitely post some outfits. It might look very cliche, and I'll probably be burned at the stake, but someday I'll do it.
