hmm....i've seen one top ten (from 2005), and the revised top ten from LAG (from 2006). i thought i read somewhere that there was going to be a new uber top 20 list from LAG and Brian combined, with winners in different categories like the oscars.

I've been wearing a pair of Nudie Bootcut olas for the last 8 months and I need to get something new. The Olas are getting to be too tight from my thighs up. They are size 30 and have only been washed once with an air dry and that was probably 2 months ago.

What should I get next?

I wouldn't mind staying with Nudie but I'm definately open to other brands too. If I stay with Nudie, I was thinking about getting a pair of Straight Svens. Are they much roomier than the Olas? To be honest, I'm getting tired of the tight pants look and just want something roomier and more comfortable but still fitted.

Svens will be roomier than Olas, but after 8 months, I don't think you'd mind graduating from nudies.

Wheres some good places to get an argyle v-neck or crew(?) sweater? Trying to expand my style...

Also, any good places to search for western style shirts? (for some reason, the one western shirt I have isn't straight on the bottom...I don't know what the term is, but in the front and the back its a little longer and on the sides it curves up a little)

Svens are roomier than the Olas. If you are looking for something about the same price and style but much higher quality, I would personally go with the Kicking Mule 1950 (very slight taper) or 2010 (true straight leg), which is lightyears ahead of Nudies in quality (although I really like Nudie cuts, and wear the Svens myself.) Denimbar carries both, in any case.

As for the top 20 list, I've been sitting on it, and will post it once I get motivated to get off my duff and finish writing/editting the desciptions. 20 jeans is a long list...

A question for tall people.
Im looking for a navy / dark blue blazer (affordable) that is very sleek , slim cut. Im 6'3", and have a 37" chest. Usually I go with mediums for tops, and have them taken in. But Im getting annoyed with all of my shirts,sweaters, and blazers being a few inches too short. Id like to have a 'staple' blazer thats long enough for my height.

Trying to figure out my first pair of raw denim. Tried on some Levis 501 preshrinks for ease of comparison. A 30x32 fit perfectly in the waist, but the thighs looked painted, gave a wedgie and the inseam was about 1/4-1/2" too short. So basically I think I'm looking for something looser in the thigh and has a bigger back rise. What brands commonly fit that bill? Was thinking 5ep might be appropriate, but would like a couple pairs to choose from.

I scanned through this thread and did not see this question asked. It is a pretty noob question, so i felt it best to ask here.

I recently bought my first pair of unwashed jeans. My mom has a longhaired cat that sheds some. This hair gets onto my jeans and I hate it. I try to get most of it off using just my hands. My question is: would using a lint roller compromise the fade of my jeans any?

Is the AE Mora versatile enough to wear with both denim and dressier outfits? It looks a bit fancy on in pictures, but I've heard it is different in person. If possible, can someone post a picture of it being worn?

I have a size 33 RRDG that fits very snug, if I am going to get a SJDJ should I go with a 33 or size up to a 34?

Luciano Barbera cuts a really long jacket. I am 5'11" and wear a short, so a long whould be plenty long for you. Costume National cuts ridiculously long arms. I typically need about 3 inches of the sleeve, and I have long arms (77" wingspan). If you like the slim with short short skirt look, this might be good for you. Lots of choices on Yoox.

I thought I saw something about this before, but couldn't find the thread when I searched, so asking here. I have some American Apparel t-shirts that I bought a couple years ago. They fit great. About 6 months ago I bought some more AA shirts in the same size...they are noticably larger in the same size, and didn't really shrink much when washed. Did AA change their t-shirt sizing at some point? I use to be a large, but now I'm thinking a medium fits like their larges use to....

There are different bodies used in their tees. I know that one model is called the 2001. Not sure about the others. There are noticieable differences between the cuts though.

Is anyone familiar with Nudie's Regular Ralf canvas jeans? How much stretching should I expect on them?

nobody know anything? reason i'm asking is that the denim fabric itself feels tight, not stretchy....
