My question is regarding the inseam length/break - obviously they're long on the model (and stack even more on me - I'm 5'10", and a no-break inseam for me is 29" - the inseam on these is 35"). They definitely look better on the model than they do on me (the legs are a little baggier on me, which gets exaggerated by stacking them), which is why I feel like it may be better for me to get them hemmed to at least a half break (if not no break, but that seems like it may be too formal), but I'm not sure how well that's going to work for a "casual" fit. I'm not looking to wear these to weddings or anything, but I get a little confused about how trousers should look, since I'm used to wearing denim or a suit.

I wear my casual pants shorter then I do my jeans, but longer them I would suit or my dressy pants. Find the happy medium.

so i just got a chambray shirt (this one: http://jakedavis.typepad.com/.a/6a00...3afb970b-450wi ) and i have no idea what to wear with it. i live in a pretty cold climate, so layering is essential. i've tried a royal blue cardigan, a heather gray cardigan and a dark green reverse knit zip sweater and they all look pretty 'meh' to me.

what about pants? 9 times out of 10 you'll find me in my raw levi 510s (about a year old now, washed twice) but i also have some black H&M skinny jeans and some charcoal Uniqlo T-000s.

any input would be appreciated!

I am looking for a winter jacket with a zipper-split hood I saw on context a while ago. It had authentic fox fur hood; any ideas? For some reason I think it's paratroopers or something but I am not sure. On another note; I bought an RLX down jacket and it SUCKS. Horrible quality. Zipper already broke, skirt already ripped... not to mention it just feels cheap after like 10 uses. What a joke of a RL line.

There's a perceptible difference compared to the standard Dr Martens heel. At least 1/2" thickness which is much more noticeable when you wear them. It's more than an insole will change (although I do have athletic insoles in these, which fit fine but don't change the feel at all):

I specifically don't buy chambray (or many blue shirts for that matter) because I wear jeans almost every day. Chinos and black pants are what I'd pair it with. Black or earth-tone tops.

Suggestions for canvas weekend trip bags? These parachute bags (posted on A Time to Get) would be perfect if they weren't slightly too big for carrying on. And I like these Wm. J. Mills bags but something without white straps would be better. Price <$100.

Now is there something I might be doing that is causing this and is the simplest way to fix it just a DIY with a needle?

Also, a question about BoO fit. I put the measurements of a current season M Oxford (ran a size small this season) to my S in the R&B shirt. The measurements pretty much align. The problem is on the BoO the buttons are pulling a little bit. I am unsure as to where the pulling is coming from as I have room in the chest area and my shoulders are fine, does it maybe need a wash before I can accurately judge? Could it just be the material that is making it more constricting? The R&B is a looser fabric whereas the BoO is an oxford.
This is why I hate the quick question thread.

I like light blue oxfords. Police officer-chic?

Black/white tees, sneakers, black boots, leather jackets. I feel like it's too casual for anything else, like it takes a certain kind of swag.

DIY with a needle, no reason/method to fix other than cutting/restitching or waiting for it to come off.

And if one shirt pulls and the other one doesn't, well, that means they're different measurements. Do the buttons pull anywhere in particular?

I know, it sucks when you ask a question and it gets lost in this thread. Sometimes you have to ask again.

Does anyone know who sells the brand Kontorsion, online? seems all the sites that used to either no longer sell that brand, or their inventory is ancient
