My new jantzen shirt - some pics - Page 2

I actually thought that the shoulders might want to lose a little bit of width, but that could definitely be an issue of personal taste.
Second that. -0.5" on the shoulder.

Just my naive observations: 1) The right collar bends at a awkward angle in all the pictures, why? Was it pressed this way? Was your tie too tight? I can't offer a remedy for this. 2) You have a lower drop on your right shoulder; your right shoulder drops lower than your left. Your shirt, however, was not adjusted for it. Right now, both shoulders are too wide, but regardless of the different drop, your left shirt shoulder is actually wider than your right. My feeling is that your left shoulder won't feel as comfortable as the right, and when you raise your arms up the shoulders create unsightly folds. 3) This last problem cannot be remedied by measurements alone. You have a very slight sloop, causing your shoulder/yoke to pull the shirt up; however, your low drop shoulders pull both sides of the shirt down, thus creating the ruffle you see at the back. There is also a ''fold-up'' at the neck (top circle). It would be nice to see the armhole and sides too if you could take a picture with your arms raised. One last question: the collar looks a tiny little tight to my eyes, how does it feel for you? I myself is very fond of checks, and I like your shirt/tie ensemble. Your sleeve lengths look about right too (just a tiny difference between left and right: your left is about 1/8" longer than your right), and I see that you did not request a sleeve plackett button. Good choice on the buttons too (MOP instead of troca); though I don't see them on the picture, I am sure they look good with the shirt. Naturlaut

Thank you very much for your excellent comments. The collars feels ok (not too tight). As requested, a couple of more pics (now with a brioni tie ..): -------------

CT, I think that I made it incredibly clear; I was not passing any personal affront or offence. I was merely was giving my view on the combination. Moreover, I feel that each individual item is very nice, but I just think that it was not well coordinated. I think that your comment was far more insulting.

Low-class? I do believe that you are in the USA mate. That is about on par with you comment as above. I too will stop, you seem like a decent guy, so let us not get caught up in trivial and petty matters. Nova, you are in the US, no? Therefore, I would not worry about the tie... (As you changed to a pink one - perhaps due to my comment)
