They still look nice, just wonder how they actually wear?

 

They would have to be rather stiff.

 

 

But then again you may never ever have to get them re-soled.

Great thread. Are these shoes constructed to the same standard as Vass? Handmade, no gemming?

By the way, the double sole shoes (second pic in Namor's post, thanks for starting this threak smile.gif ), have a 1 cm thick sole, the same thickness as my EG Dovers and probably the same as Alden or any other double sole shoes. The triple sole shoes, the thickness of the sole is less than 1.5cm, so an extra .5 cm from shoes that a lot of you are wearing already. Obviously I am biased but these shoes wear a lot better than they photograph, the opposite of a lot of shoes that photograph great but wear not so great.
