I might get back to you with a G&G MTO before that, if that's ok? Provided I can narrow down my sizing in EG on a few lasts which would then need to serve as basis. Or, going EG right away. Either way...

Would the G&G models available on their own webstore be available on the old pricing before the month end? Or does this apply to in stock models and MTO?

G&G Arran Chukkas in Dark Brown/Espresso Highland Grain - badsha, Pbayvip

G&G Thorpe Boots in Vintage Oak Calf/Oak Hatch Grain MH71 - badsha, Pbayvip, Nullson

G&G Oakham Double Monks in Deep Cherry & Burgundy Highland Grain TG73

G&G Wigmore in Racing Green Calf/Green Hatch Green DG70 - badsha, stevent, dmbthomson

I'm interested in a couple of these - the Oakham (provided it's a oak bark sole) or the Wigmore (is that an oak bark sole?). Can't stretch to both.

I'm an 11F, which may not help all that much at the moment.

Can I just check the prices in SEK if we were to get one or other over the line?

Ultimate Flannel Suit Suede Balmoral Boot

Gents, hopefully we're close to confirming this Carmina GMTO.  I think if you own and wear a flannel or tweed suit, or even just pants, these would definitely complete the look!

As a reminder, here are the deets:

Carmina Suede Balmoral Boot, Model 80092 in the Robert last:

In Polo Suede and Danite Sole:

So far we have 4 interests: myself, @djdanniedee, @JARB, @itraxx

Just need 2 more to finalize!

Just placed an order for nightshade Dovers on the 606.  Thanks go to Gabriel for answering many questions over email and to others for answers and inspiration.  Though the inspiration is not good for my wallet --- 3 EGs ordered in the last 6 weeks!

Thought I'd share the results of an experiment on PayPal currency exchange prices that I did when paying my Dover invoices, since others on the thread had mentioned the discrepancy:

- PayPal exchange rate on mobile: 1 USD = 8.13 SEK

- PayPal exchange rate on desktop: 1 USD = 8.20 SEK

- Capital One exchange rate (from the actual purchase after selecting "pay in local currency" in PayPal): 1 USD = 8.34 SEK

Interesting to see that PayPal really sticks it to you on mobile, where they also don't allow you to switch to currency conversion on your credit card (at least that I could find).

Those Dovers should be beautiful.  Good choice.

Also just placed an order for 64-last, shearling lined Galway, ridgeway sole, dark brown Utah leather.  Also thanking Gabriel for the very speedy responses.

Wow, I knew PayPal "desktop" was typically worse than a bank-issued credit card, but I didn't know there was a PayPal difference between mobile and desktop. Sheesh.

^ Thanks guys.  Very psyched.  Went back and forth on whether to do a tough boot with the Utah leather.  Look forward to testing it out, really liked the look of it on the Kentmeres that Skoak is running but in the end wanted a veldt Galway.

I am having major indecision on what G&G MTO I should get in before the price increase. I was pondering the Harrow in pine or chestnut. But, then I keep thinking about a Hove or Isham. But, I already have a Dover in oak and am waiting on a carmina split toe in chestnut. Round and round I go....

I say Isham. Different enough from the Dover, and would go better with the lighter colors you have in mind. Would be a good make-up for a Florida gent... smile.gif

Carmina Polo Brown Suede 905 GMTO

Just wanted to pick up where @laufer left and ask who would be interested in a Carmina 5 eyelet rain lasted chukka GMTO.

It would be leather

For this model

Sole would be something rubber. My preference is double Dainite but I'm also open to Dainite 500, single Dainite, Tomir or victory. Whatever the majority will want as long as it's rubber.

Also open to any lining color if folks have a preference.

There's currently 2 confirmed
@Tallcane
myself (@watchidiot)

And 2 other interested
@GoodTwillHuntin
@Desi Montez

We need to get to 6 to get this going.
