Unfortunately, we have no picture of the finished Cardiff model in this material.

@Leaves Do you have swatches for the different colors of buffalo?

The 804 has a slightly lower instep than the 74945. Widthwise however, the 74945 is quite similar to Carmina's Forest last. For the Buffalo leather, see this link:

Also, which of these is the better representation of etrusco?

Or

Enzo-Bonafe-3577-Derby-Norvegese-Etrusco-02b_1024x1024.jpg?v=1417981908

I would believe that both pictures are quite representative. Etrusco is a reddish brown color which great depth and works amazingly well with a great variety of colors.

I will be ordering a Double monk in the 946 last and wondering if I should get a shoe tree and which one. I do have some generic ones lying around.

Bonafé does not offer lasted shoe trees. They are of generic fit. Our shoe trees fit the Bonafé lasts very well.

To what extend does Enzo burnish/finish leather

Correct. For a MTO, you can specify if you prefer a deep burnishing but for the shoes we order to our store, we specify a soft antiquing.

Yes. Bonafé uses F width as their standard and we recommend to size down half a size from G&G E width to a standard width Bonafé.

^ Thanks for the info about etrusco. What about giamaica? Do the finished shoes come out like that 3202MOD pair or would we have to request something specific to get them like that?

Happy new year everyone!

But what does it say on the box? Does it say 3200 or 3200mod?

According to leaves Bonafe uses following width convention

E-narrow
F-normal fit
G-wide
H-very wide

Are you saying that you model was made on E-narrow 946 last?

^^ By default all our Enzo Bonafè styles are standard Bonafè width = F. Unless otherwise requested, all shoes ordered from us will always be standard width fit.

Yes Bonafe 946 last in F width definitely has narrow box than Carmina Rain last.

What a great way to get into Bonafe, with your own no fee MTO! I wish I was ready for this, can't wait to see all the pics in the coming months.

Yes, the finish comes out slightly darker than on the swatches since they are hand polished but the differences is not huge. We often specify soft antiquing to get a noticeable darker finish on the toe and heel but still very supple one.

Could you suggest an Enzo last close to EG 82?

Sorry, but I have to disagree. The 946 absolutely has a higher instep AND feels marginally wider than Rain in the same size.

I do prefer the softer chisel of the Rain last, but the 946 fits me so much better.

No need to be sorry but, see this post http://www.styleforum.net/t/338047/skoaktiebolaget-carmina-eg-gg-bonafe-official-affiliate-thread/7125#post_7593562

I would like to make sure that we are talking about the same thing here.

I have chukka model Art.3403 mod on 946 last in F width.

What model do you have?

I have both the Etrusco wholecut and the claret austerity brogue in 7.5. The wholecut actually feels slightly roomier than the austerity brogue.

Both feel higher in the instep than the Carmina quarter brogue on Rain last in 7.5.

I think the volume could be close, but the Bonafé has a steeper slope to match my instep. Regardless, it feels higher.

I've heard the Jodhpur on the 804 has a slightly higher instep than the 946 but not enough to size down.

Do you still have boxes from Bonafe shoes?

What does it say on the boxes?
on my box it says Art.3403 mod.
According to Gabriel this means modified 946 last, where instep was tighten at the request of Skoaktibolaget.
