If Enzo Bonafe got waxed calf, I might want to copy the C&J Northcore

This is great!  I'm eager to try out my first EB.   I am a bit confused about last sizing, though.  The 363 last has been described as similar to Carmina's Forest  by @Leaves but the website compares it to Carmina's Detroit.  The latter is supposed to be a wider last than the former.  Anyone else able to weigh in on this?

There is a 363 and 363 MOD last. The 363 MOD is pretty wide and yes comparable to Detroit.

Left - Detroit

Right - 363 MOD

(Detroit last is slightly longer)

@ecwy: Very helpful! Those austerity boots are gorgeous, btw.  If they're as wide as Rain, then I may have to order these since these are still in stock.

Any chance you could share your sizing on Carmina lasts compared to the 363 MOD last?

Great idea. I was thinking of a slightly sleeker Snowdon but I think veldtschoen construction would not be an option.

Hi LoKey,

I only have 1 Enzo pair. I wear the same size across Carmina and Enzo but I do target the wider lasts due to my wide feet. I wear the same size in Rain, Detroit, Soller and 363 MOD. 363 MOD feels wider than Rain in the toe box to me.

I would personally recommend grabbing the austerity boot if you like the design.

Hope that helps!

Edit - I had previously posted a pic of Rain vs 363 MOD if you haven't seen it

Yes, they are both in the same size. It was a quick pic so I didn't align them with great care.

I just came back from a 2 week holiday so I'm in a good mood. Bonus pic for you. I tried to align it to the line of the tile but as leaves mentions, it is not a great way to compare. I think it is clearer in this pic that the 363 MOD is roomier.

Here's the swatch for Lama. I also started adding a catalog for all the Bonafé styles we know of or have made up. It's on out Facebook page, please look there for inspiration by following this link.

Also, this might be a great resource, a WeTransfer link with most styles made up the last couple of decades. Many of these are not "SF approved" but some are great

Thanks for the pictures of Bonafe's designs. Also, it will be helpful if you could provide comparison pictures of Bonafe lasts too, with brief description :)

@ecwy: That is very helpful.  I wear the same size in Rain and Soller as well, so this gives me hope.   I've contacted skoaktiebolaget directly to follow up.

Nope, sorry, I have not seen it IRL either. But from the description, I have a feeling it's awesome.

Enzo Bonafé lasts top view:

946 last - chiseled last (our most popular Bonafé last, fits similar to Carmina Rain).

363MOD - classic round last (great last for boots, fits quite similar to Carmina Detroit)

74945 last - round chiseled last (my personal favorite, this fits similar to Carmina Forest last)

804 last - round almond shaped last (fits similar to Carmina Rain)

173 last - gunboat style round last, very casual (fits quite similar to Carmina Detroit)

Generally speaking you could say that most Bonafé lasts are quite generous in fit, and has a quite high instep.

EDIT: fixed the pictures so the shape of the lasts were more visible.

That would be very sharp. I may copy you. Or get one like the picture. Or black calf lower amd grey suede upper. Or get two of these.

Debating dark brown llama/Etruso calf/burgundy calf

They fit very similar but the shape is very different. Please see the posted pics with top views.

Unfortunately not, we've yet to find a last that caters to a low instep.

Any chance of you putting up a page of all the models you've received from EB (either stock or MTO) with the model number? I know you've said there are limitless configurations, but any resource would be helpful in deciding. The swatches are super helpful - would love to have even a partial model list to pick from!

Please see earlier post about our Facebook page and the WeTransfer link.

I hope this clears up some questions, feel free to post more questions or email us at sales@skoab.se .
