I went with the Skoak travel trees but I sized full size down at recommendation by Skoaktiebolaget. It's best to check with them if you decide to order travel shoe trees.

All our trees are made up on the same last, they run slightly large. So if you want to be on the safe safe size down half a size (our trees only come in full sizes so in some cases this would mean sizing down a full size). When you order shoes and shoe trees at he same time from us we always double check to see which tree size is the optimal one for that particular last, so you won't need to worry about that, but if you order trees separately the above info could be useful.

The answer is that there will be no extra surcharge for Museum Calf for the Bonafé models we'll get in stock shortly. We visited the factory today and got a confirmation.

I'll give my thoughts on it this weekend. Bear in mind that the Bonafe's are a UK7.5 while the Vass is EU42 and the EG and Carmina are in an UK8.

The Bonafe chiseled last is really awesome; I would rate it either on par or better then the EG 888 last. Planning to do a black/grey single monk in the chiseled last ala Aubercy's. Anyone interested?

Looking forward to hearing what you think of the fit of the Bonafe chiselled last compared to EG888 and Carmina Simpson... I noticed that you mentioned sizing down half a size, are all those lasts good fits for you sizing that way?
