Oh, forgot to let you know, this has also been restocked. Probably one of my personal Carmina favorites at the moment. And I'm happy we got a restock given the situation with Shell shortage.

Shall I order in the same size as rain (UK9EE)?

How come these have a Ridgeway sole instead of a Commando sole?

The Commando was a thin rubber sole stitched + glued to a leather midsole. What happened after a few wears was that the rubber got a little frayed in the toe are. Although this does not look very nice it does not affect the function of the boot and the fraying wears away quite quickly. But we put in a considerable amount of time explaining this so in the end we decided for a full heavy duty rubber sole like the Ridgeway. So the reason is purely pragmatic.

Thanks for the explanation, I get the same frays with topied shoes too.

I have to check, I would think it's too late. Also, I think they enforce the same policy as G&G and EG that all the ordered models has to be in the same width. I'll have to get back to you.
Thanks Patrick.

Patrick or Gabriel, would Bonafe be able to do a wholecut and/or faux U cap adelaide broguing say on the round toes last? Like EG Weymouth

or St Crispin 564

And is there anyone keen on this?

Guys I hate to nitpick, but I should mention this, because I was mistaken too. Those soles are called Victory soles also made by Vibram. It's hard to tell the difference sometimes.

Thanks Patrick.

Still waiting for an answer from Bonafé.

Still waiting for an answer from Bonafé.

Sorry for the dumb question, but is it burgundy or brown? My phone screen and computer screen greatly seem to disagree.

This latest batch came in slightly less reddish in color (that pic is from an old batch). I have to see if I can color correct the pictures a little.
