Barky, I think chiseled last suits this design best. For me, will look weird in the round last. This is Aubercy RTW actually made by EB

Definitely. I think that it would look too "blobby" on a round-toed last. I've got a similar pair of Berlutis with a chiselled toe, and the EG Oundle, which is very similar, is typically made on the 888 last, with a chiselled toe.
If the last is as sleek as Aubercy, yes, but Bonafe's own chisel last is fair bit more generous in the forefoot than that so I don't know whether it will be as balanced.

Bonafe Chisel

I was thinking of the round last as it looks to have a sleeker profile than the chisel

but my eyes could be fooling me. Perhaps Gabriel or Patrick can chip in.

In any case, Oundle in 82 is not half bad.

And then you have Jermyn on the 7000. Can you imagine the Aubercy's design on this last? I think it would be similar to Bonafe's round last.

I heard Carmina does not have dark brown hatch grain only chestnut/sienna hatch grain color.

We have not had any reports of issues with the Carmina hatch grain. Some A/S clients reported issues with it so we wanted to wait for client feedback before we placed any more orders. I'm still not a huge fan of the material though, I think the Carmina Camel Grain hand finished to brown is much nicer. It can also be finished to mid-brown and that also looks very nice.

Seems like hatch grain is a no go for the rain chukka

Any interest for vegano brown calf for this model ?
