I based my sizing off of the 946 lasts that I own, so I'm hoping that by taking the same size I should be ok. The 804 is supposed to have a slightly lower instep, and is said to be a touch narrower in comparison to the 946. That was the advice I got from the store.

Really? I dont think I could fit 1/2 a size down.
I had emailed him yesterday WRT the jodphur sizing and was given this rec. However I was also rec to size up 1/2 size for the jumper boot I ordered but based upon a couple other owners, I stayed TTS as per my usual and luckily it worked out.
YMMV
I think in future I would size the same in the 804, worse case I can always wear an insole or slightly thicker socks. Much harder to attempt to go the other way.

I think you're actually on to something here. Weren't there two kids showing in the same pic? And aren't Adidas made by kids in third world countries?? Hmmm.... The plot thickens!

Hmm...St. C is in the area this month, but at a US shop on the 22nd. Multiple trunk show teams?

Bonafe cap toe. 804 almond last may not sound that exciting, but it is still like stepping into a Ferrari.

Beautiful. Is there a seam at the back?

yes, yes and yes, I didnt think of that, those are all excellent points :)
....and also, since the moon was in alignment with jupiter on that day and we all know from the old germanic mythology that adidas was the same god as the roman jupiter,
which stands for honesty and truth...I rest my case.

Wow, that's nice! Great pics, better than our store pictures. Can I use those for reference in the future, and online?
Leaves, what is the difference between the 804 and the 74945 last? 74945 looks like it starts out wider?
I wear UK 11 in 804 and UK 11.5 for 74945. So I size the same for 804 as for Carmina Rain and for 74945 I use my Carmina Forest size. But please email us for specific fitting advise. Generally speaking we recommend using the same size for the 804 last as Carmina Rain.
Haha. I want these right now. I assume MTO? Edit. They look like stock at Skoab. How do I size?
Generally speaking we recommend using the same size for the 804 last as Carmina Rain.
@Leaves, would we just need three total to get these in non-standard sizes? I would need a shoe larger than what you have available in stock. Also, are these ever available in brown?
Yes, three minimum for a refill order or a GMTO. If you go GMTO you can chose any color you like.
Yeah, but since he's hardly ever right I thought it best to give him one. LOL
Remind me, how many decades have you and tifosi been married?
How does the bonafe 804 compare to the rain last? Specifically, how does the heel size/room compare. Rain seems very large relative to most shoes.
Generally speaking we recommend using the same size for the 804 last as Carmina Rain. But feel free to email us for specific fitting advise.

I think I will eventually go for a pair in brown or plum museum.

Budapest12 & Tifosi, can I join you? I would go for both plum museum and brown…..

We could save that 15% upcharge and invest it in more shoes :)

Might be interested as well. I'm currently waiting for my MTO in Plum to be ready for delivery so I'd like to see how it turns out before I commit to anything else in Plum. Although, I would favor a make up in brown museum.

The heel counter is one piece wrapping around the back and covering the seam up to the tab that folds to the inside. You can see it in the top photo.

Sure!

Is that a photo from the new stock?
