So Bonafe model 3577

Etrusco calf

double leather sole

74945 last

270 handwelt (no Norvegese)

brown sole edge

brown flat laces

natural lining

The only other thing I'd suggest is a light burnish on the toe to give it a little more character.  Also, if there's a groundswell of support for Meleze, I'd be cool with that too.  After seeing the pic of the incoming Meleze captoes, I think it's an awesome color too.

Any other thoughts guys?  I think we need 4 people to get this going.

+1 Equally flexible between the two colors.

Anyone for toe taps or no? I'm fine without

Understood.  Etrusco with no burnish.

I don't have a strong opinion on toe taps other than they set off the metal detector at the courthouse and require me to take my shoes off. Is there an extra cost for that and will they mess up my hardwood floors at home? :)

I have never seen Etrusco in person; do you think its very close to the Marlow?

I think it may be. Can we just noodle on it this weekend. I would be down for something closer to a Whiskey or closer to an Ebano, also?

Or maybe even a Black?

Any thoughts?

I have several pairs in Etrusco at this point.  I would describe it as a reddish brown.

The pair here:

Are exactly how it looks in person.

How about Vitello Bolet?  I've always wanted a pair of something in Bolet.

Are your Marlows in dark brown cordovan?

Yes-

The standard brown cordovan.

Bolet looks interesting as well. I think Etrusco is ligher and redder than my Marlows but want to go home and look at them this weekend.

Would you be down with Bolet?

Too light for me, I'm afraid. Looking for something suitable for the office.

Have a look at your Marlows this weekend.  I'd be fine with Bolet, Etrusco, or Meleze but would prefer darker shades I suppose.

Skoak says the price would be $550 USD and $50 extra for toe taps.

@watchidiot Splendid pair, I gave my brother the same as a present, he wears the hell out of them but you can't tell, very sturdy make up, perfect with denim. One of our first Bonafè make ups!

Thank you @Leaves! If your family is in need of another brother, I'll happily volunteer to be adopted. Your choice of gifts to your brother is excellent.
