They stack up very well with Carmina if not better. I own a pair of single monks (the one pictured below) and the leather and finish are very on par with Carmina.

Will they do the patina service on light shoes from other brands?

OK, they are clearly not interested in GMTO, but patina service works outside GMTO program ... .

It seems they use the same French calf leathers from
Annonay as with Carmina.

I could definitely groove on those jumper boots in a dark green patina.

Brilliant move by Leaves and team. While this is not some flashy high end EG substitute, it really widens Skoak's client base. Plus there is a lot of synergy ("oh I didn't know this brand is in/just out of my price range") now from top to bottom.

Good job guys!

Yes - and I can't tell you how often I have come close on that one - just wish for the taller shaft of 'true' jumper boot.

I'm going to get the swan neck oxfords, methinks.

In the hayday of the Allen Edmonds MTO program, it wasn't hard to get 8 for a GMTO.  It is hard to get 8 for a $1,000 shoe but at $325, it shouldn't be hard once the AE fans get wind of this.

Yes, it will probably be much easier. Eventhough I tried tu put together EB MTO and no one joined me during last week :(.

Is there a difference between the Santos models Skoak offers vs. the ones as Saks?

Good on everyone who got the linen button boot GMTO going! My quality shoe arsenal is still far too much in its infancy to get them, but that is a must kop design down the road.

What insoles are used to Carlos Santos? Leather or poron insoles?

Leather insoles, leather board heel stiffeners (unlike Carmina, who use celastic), celastic toe stiffeners.
