Thank you.  They look great, it is a color Im considering for my next pair so wanted to clarify.

It's been a long wait! I'm so excited for these to finally come in.

Somehow I've only worn my button boots like once. Need to fix that situation

Lots of luck! Wore mine yesterday, great makeup.

That brings up an interesting GMTO idea for me.

Burgundy shell with a complimentary color either Peccary or Suede shaft, on Danite.

Edit: EB Button Boots

Potentially crazy thought: any interest in a calf button boot with a linen shaft?

I know boots are usually viewed as a fall/winter shoe, but something about that combo seems mighty interesting in my mind.

Note: I have no idea if this is even a viable makeup.

I will just put a bit of black wax and then polish, no one will notice (except for yourself of course) Nothing to worry about unless it is badly cut to the inside.

When you press down on your big toe, where do your toes end? is it before, at, or after that far crease? if it is after that far crease is that where your big toe nail is starting?

On the other hand that is a nice collection.

When I press down on my big toe, my toes end after the crease-beyond-cap. I would say the knuckle of my big toe is just past the crease-beyond-cap. What does that mean?

Thanks in advance.

I measured 4 boots - 2 G&G's, 1 EG (all UK 9.5E) and an Alden 10D, by lining up the heel cup. All but the EG are the same length. The EG is about 1/8" shorter.

Kudos to the estimable @Diabolical who pm'd me this:

Here's another guy's pair:

My pair is very similar as well. "

So, it appears that the break in the Glencoes is consistent. I note that there is considerably more volume in the Canterbury than in the others.

My goodies from THP are arriving tomorrow and I'll report out on the repair work. Cheers!

Even Gabriel's pair seems to exhibit a similar creasing to it. https://www.instagram.com/p/_MTEfhvwJo/
