Very, very nice.  Wow those look good!  I think an MTO is inevitable.

I know I seen it before, and it is a amazing looking shoe. I visited the Skoab store last week and looked at their samples of llama calf, and the green was stunning. So a linen/green llama spectator will surely be a good looking shoe. What makes me to hesitate is the versatility of a green one. What would you wear to a shoe like that?

stunning - would pair them with mid - heavy weighted cotton trous / linen might work too. as 'summer' as it gets

I am strongly considering those unlined chukkas. However, I don't have much experience with a resole on blake-stitched shoes. Does anyone have experience taking them to a local cobbler or some place more well known such as B Nelson in NYC? Is it pretty straight forward?

Thanks everyone.

Hey @Skoaktiebolaget

Will this model scheduled to arrive in March be available in size 10.5?

These look really sharp.  Did you shine them up at all?  The finish on the leather looked more flat and waxy on Skok's site.  I would have been all over these if they were on Dainite.

I will wear spectators with my linen pants (navy/dark brown/brown) and maybe denim. I'm not sure green shoes will get as much wear as dark brown. But on the other hand green is looking awesome. Tough choices i guess. :puzzled:

Darn! If I didn't have too many boots as is already, and these were not described as fitting similar to Soller/Detroit. Are they really that roomy in width and high in instep (my understanding for the mentioned Carminas)?

My 363 MOD bal boots fit very similar to my Soller last Carmina Derby boots in terms of forefoot width and instep height, even allowing for the different styles. Soller has maybe a bit more room in the toe box and 363 MOD a bit more instep room. Same size in both.

Cheers! That's probably a no go for me then. Rain is already "generous" for me, Forest and Vass F fitting me well and being a UK D in EG 202/606/82.

Thank you sir! The sheen came as is and the leather in real life has slightly less depth than on Skoak's site. I agree that Dainite would have made these even more attractive for F/W, but my daily office commute consists of my garage at home to the parking garage at work. I'm very rarely walking through foul weather during the week.

See the sizing was confusing to me. I was part of a Carmina soller lasted GMTO last spring and was suggested to go a half size down from my Carmina Rain size (9.5UK). Mind you, I wear 9.5UK in literally everything but I obliged. The soller 9UK isn't painful but is slightly too snug for my tastes. With that said I went with a 9.5UK for the EB boot and they fit very well and leave me room for thicker wool socks if need be. Width and instep is about the same is a Carmina Rain and a Vass F-Last

@patliean1

Very helpful, cheers! And slightly confusing as it means it could actually work fine if I sized same as Rain, which is same size as Vass F for me, half size down from Forest and all the EGs, I mentioned.
