I don't think the Burgol Piz Skoak is carrying has been mentioned yet. I applied it to a soft grain leather Dainite boot that will take some abuse this winter. It didn't darken the leather at all, and water just beads up and rolls off. I'll try shell later.

Speaking of Chukkas, here is our latest addition from Enzo Bonafé: Bulgaro Lama Chukka:

The endless EB combos are allowing for some amazing MTOs I never would've thought of.

Also, is the kudu Thorpe still due this month?

@RogerP

What details are you thinking for the chukka?

The U-wing Boot is called 3959. The Adelaide style is a modified 3200 (MOD) but this style has become so very popular that Bonafé is giving it a new code (TBA). Kudu Thorpe, no word yet, please email for details.

@sacafotos   That U wing is a Model 3959 (new model designation), which is a special MTO (30% fee) that Gabe and Patrick patiently helped me with the final model.  It's on the 946 last in double leather sole and red goat lining.  The leather is Dark Brown Museum. The design completely evolved from the first one I had in mind but then again Skoak did a good job in entertaining my requests with the options that I wanted.  It took EB awhile to finally finish it when I placed the order back in 03/2015 which usually happens in cases like this when they create a new model from what Gabe said.  Having said that, I can say that it turned out pretty well.

@filangler

It's so beautiful. Amazing job on the design. Eager to see some in the wild shots.

@nickrut

Would probably look killer in mahogany shell, too.

 @sacafotos Thank you Sir!  I'll make sure to take pics of it as soon as it arrives. This would have been in mahogany shell (pretty new around March 2015 per Patrick) but then again, I wasn't sure how it would turn out so I didn't take the plunge.  Since I'm really getting fond of all U-cap/U-wing styles recently (I have 2 coming from St. Crispin's as well), there will be a shell MTO for sure in this model in the near future.

Just arrived from Skoaktiebolaget - Carmina Polo Suede Chukkas. I had my eye on these for a few months, I'm so glad I made the purchase!

These fit comfortably right out of the box. I think I'll be able to add them to the rotation soon, looking forward to wearing these on my honeymoon to Argentina this winter smile.gif

These ones are mine. I am absolutely thrilled. My first Bonafé MTO. I can't afford G&Gs but I love adelaides and wanted to make some minor changes for personal preference.

I was pretty clearly inspired by G&G's St James II. The leather is vitello bolet and it is on the 946 last, which is a chiseled last. Most St James II's I've seen are a little more rounded. I also requested a beveled waist, the light burnishing on the toe, flat laces, and for the laces to match the sole.
