Great news, any more pictures available? Are the seams hand or machine stitched? Would it be possible to order it MTO before February?
Thanks

We actually just left the factory, it's pretty late here in Europe. I don't know the exact difference technically for the tanning process, but usually Betis is used only for casual styles. It's finish is usually a bit more rugged and uneven too.

It's hand stitched but it's a totally different technique than EG and GG uses. We'll see the final result in a few months. It will be the first time they do a style exactly like this so there are no pictures.

Also, for those of you who are in on the Col.4 GMTO you will receive an email with some news soon. Bad news is that Col. 4 is out. Good news is that we have secured quite a lot of Mahogany Shell and to be honest this looks a lot like Col. 4. But more details in the email, no need to go over it here.

@Leaves

What last are you thinking for that split toe boot? Have you seen the 773 used on the button boots that Leffot had?

If you can get Bonafé to elongate the apron—thus shortening the "split" toe—it would look much nicer, I think, especially with that chained Norvegese. Nice find.

Picked up my EB tobacco suede chelseas from FedEx. Sizing down half works with the wholecut suede; I didn't feel my pinky toe get pinched. Thanks again to Patrik and Gabriel!

I think I'm a solid US 9 "normal"; 9D in Allen Edmonds 65 and 8 UK in Carmina Forest both fit comfortably length and width-wise.

Very nice & congrats what size Chelsea did you pick up? Did you take size 8 UK as your carmina size or 9.5UK?

I asked Gabriel for advice and told him my Carmina Forest size was 8 UK. He suggested 7.5 UK because a laceless EB 946 boot at 8 UK might be too loose. I think 7.5 UK indeed works well here whereas I'd pick 8 UK in 946 for laced shoes and boots.

Got yea so you went with 7.5UK then? I ask because when I were them with thin dress sock they are little loose but it's ok with normal cotton socks.

Yep, 7.5 UK. I guess my feet would "swim" if I had gone with 8 UK, but I also think that if this weren't a suede wholecut, I'd feel some pinky toe pinching in 7.5 UK.

Is 8.5 UK your usual size, or did you also size down?
