Hi Skoaktiebolaget.

Regarding the Carmina Jumper Boots (tan) coming this fall...
You can read that "The restocked version will be in a new type of grain".
I just wondering if there are some big changes with the grain or just a minor difference in the overall look of the shoe.

Sry for bad english, hade kunnat ta det på svenska istället ;)

Remains to be seen! Every batch we recieved of these came out slightly differently. I expect them to be darker than the last batch.

Stoked to see that the G&G Thorpes are in, they look much darker than I expected!

Mate, I'm pretty sure it was a "this design, features, welt, sole, etc, but in this leather" kind of thing. No?

On a different note, "The Eagle has landed" on my shores. Am I the first one?

Than you! Yes, they came out darker than I have seen Arran before, but it's Arran Grain. As you know, this happens from time to time, although G&G are known for consistency.

Thanks for the advice but sadly when I went to buy them this morning they were gone.

If anyone is interested in joining me in a GMTO for an Enzo Bonafe Chukka in Loden Suede (363 MOD last), I have posted a proposed GMTO on the EB GMTO forum with more specific details and pictures.  Let me know if interested via the threads or PM.  Thank you!!

This sounds like an awesome make up.

@Leaves

We've been discussing a Bonafe Apron Toe Boot gmto on the Bonafe gmto thread.

So this:

in boot form,

with a flat (hand) welt,

on the 804 last,

preferably just the apron toe without the split raised stitch at the toe.

In any full grain calf (smooth, lama, grain in order of preference) in meleze/dark-ish brown or even brown shell,

with any sole,

reverse or flat hand-welt (not norvegese or bentivegna)

currently it's @laufer and me

(I remember you or @GabrielOB mentioning that bonafe has a lot of unlisted styles so you need to check with them before confirming, so before we try getting one more person to join we wanted to confirm if an apron toe boot is even possible

@Leaves

Which EG model is this U wing Adelaide Oxford? I can't seem to find a reference to it besides a Leffot MTO pic on some blog (no model name posted).

Cross-post from St. Crispin's thread:

Any thoughts on what styles of shoes would be really nice for using the olive green guys? I was thinking between an austerity brogue, u cap toe/wing, a v/diamond cap toe, or one of those offset rounded caps/wing hybrids

AppleMark

What are your thoughts?

Also any thoughts on what last would look nice on it with factoring in that I will be getting a custom last for my extreme size US 14 AA or so feet. After quick looking I've though about the classic or Riva lasts because I use GG on MH71 or TG73 for chiseled lasts. And I was thinking that screwdriver or Novello may look too long with how long and narrow my feet are already. Any thoughts?

I have to say I'm a sucker for an austerity brogue and/or U-wing.  Either would look great in green.

What do you wear with an austerity brogue?  Suit?
