@Leaves,

For someone who is a US12 D, and for whom you recommended a UK 11 on the Bonafe 74945, what EG 202 size would you reccomend? I just have to get in on that Shanklin action!

You guys are killing me with all this Bonafe stuff. I sure wish I had some vague idea how sizing would work...

@mw313

There we go. This style in Reh llama, darker colored suede for the upper. Gonna be sweet!

I love it! Now that is teamwork! All of the shoeaholics help each other to deal with our addictions with more purchases. haha.

I think that will be a great combo because the Reh covers a unique color that stands out with the suede adding another level of complexity. Which sole and construction type? Did you decide yet?

Any peccary swatches?

1000

I'm quite set on this chukka model (no extra stitching around the heel/etc. like the baby lama model usually posted) - 804 last, chain norvegese, and dainite. Just need to decide between Castagna Betis, Bolet Vitello, and any mid-brown peccary options.

Very interested to see the new Carminas made from Tärnsjö leather. Are they aniline leathers?

The Tärnsjö leather is vegetable tanned with a natural grain texture.

They sound like they will patina very well, although I have absolutely no idea how to pronounce that. Great to see Skoab working with tanneries to make projects like this work.

We do not have any picture or swatches available for the Peccary material from Bonafé. However, the colors to choose from are: Black, Dark Brown, Light brown, Sand, Burgundy and Blue. The surcharge for Peccary is 500 SEK inc VAT (400 SEK ex VAT).
A chukka boot in Peccary is absolutely possible, as it is not the first time Bonafé do similar boots. However, please remember that the leather is extremely soft and scuff marks are more a characteristic then a defect, in this case. A valid alternative choice, given by Bonafé, could be deer leather, which is a bit less soft and has a bit less marks (but some are present too). Bonafé mainly suggests using Peccary for such a model, mainly if a customer is more interested in comfort then in looking. The Peccary hides are very small.

Some pictures of Enzo Bonafe brogue and a picture of Enzo Bonafe swatch colors, very small but that is all we got.

Saw this old post on the Enzo thread, would you guys know what model / last this is (and whether it is still in production)? Definitely going to order one or two things!
