Holy cow, if I didn't order so many galways and thorpes I would be all over the Glencoe...

@RogerP didn't you have a pair of Thorpes in the same chestnut English grain leather as these Glencoes?

I know someone did, because the photos I saw were much more orange (chestnut) than Arran grain, which is the next closest hue I've seen.

Depends on the last of the Galways you already have, no? An 82 last Rosewood Galway would look really similar. You have a F64 Rosewood CC, if I recall.

Leather-wise, they are too similar for me; I could wear them interchangeably.

Nice work, Patrik and crew in getting this design out in the world. It was sorely needed in their lineup.

It is not supposed to substitute the chiseled Deco last. It will be more of a complement to the older version.

Hey guys! I'm trying to gauge interest in a GMTO idea that I have. I'm interested in ordering a pair of these loafers from Enzo Bonafe in Hidro Canapa or Dark beige suede with the tassels and leather around the heel and tongue being done in dark brown leather. The edge trim would be the same as the loafers below, and they would be on the 804 last which is the last pictured below.

Loafers:

The color is number 4:

Please send me a PM if you're interested. Thanks!

Does anyone have real world and daylight pictures of the new woven tassel loafers? Ready to pull the trigger but need to see it in proper daylight smile.gif

Some other lucky bloke, I'm sorry to say. I have no Thorpes at all.

Those Glencoes are freaking gorgeous. I so do NOT need another awesome brown derby boot, but man, the awesomeness is undeniable and damned near irresistible.

I have justified this predicament by the uniqueness of English grain leather.

You guys are hilarious. Stop trying to justify excess. Buy what you like and don't feel guilty, so long as you wear them occasionally.

Does anyone have any pics of this EB 062 last?

I cannot find any pics for the life of me.

Thanks.

My wife would beg to differ...
