Looks like we've broken 3 so it's definitely a go.  I'll wait for a response from the maybes and then collect emails to get this thing started. Thanks everyone!

Have we settled on lining? Black or perhaps red? Singel Dainite or Dainite 500?

The lining will be natural like here:

I was thinking single dainite.  I just don't want to kill myself in them in the frosty winters of the upper midwest.

Maybe singel Dainite with a thin leather mid-sole

What's single danite vs danite 500?

And would the danite sole be obvious from a side profile?

I'm from a very warm country, so the extra grip is irrelevant.

Any Bonafè Dainite sole will be quite sturdy, even their "thinnest" one. Their thinnest middle is 3 mm I think and the way they make the shoes, they need a middle. We'll post a pre-order link shortly.

I wouldn't say that! Wet cobble stones can be a bitch. A friend, no names mentioned, store manager of a respected Swedish men's shoe store, former professional soccer player, happy.gif fell pretty badly on his ass while we were visiting Mallorca, in the old town part of Palma after a short drizzle. We actually had to call for a doctor. So a Dainite sole is great even in a warmer climate. Let's just say that I never go to Palma without rubber soles these days.
