they moved fast. If I was in need of something more formal I might have hit the buy button, as I stared at them long enough last night.

I'd be in for a GMTO with a heel counter, especially if it's "peaked" akin to the AS Moore or the G&G St James II.

Would still need it to be on the Rain last, same specs otherwise (Burgundy Museum Calf, etc)

Carmina are not very keen on pattern changes. Just FYI.

I might be in. But having recently received both a GMTO and single MTO, I feel as if Carmina doesn't finish small and single orders as nicely as large shop orders. And then there is the wait.

Do people size down for loafers?  I size up from rain when wearing the simpson last, but I'm afraid that the fit of a loafer won't be a snug/tight as a laced oxford, thus making it unwearable.

I really want the polo suede string loafer....

I got the same size as Forest and Inca lasts. Rain in same size is a bit loose for me but 7.5UK is too tight in the toe box.

Can't wait to wear those. Very excited.

Fair enough.

So when you or other retailers approach Carmina for collaborations on new styles like the Adelaide, the Tarnsjo jumper, etc., do you get carte blanche to do whatever you want, or are they still limiting you to their current patterns but offering new leathers/soles/etc.?

Well Carmina is the one who draws up the pattern. You tell them about an idea that could be interesting, and they see if they draw it, try it out, and see if they like it. (U-wing for example). Leaves isn't telling them what to make.

Adelaide without heel counter is definitely losing some characteristics
