Question on the String loafers from Carmina:

Do they actually tie? As in, can you make the instep tighter or looser based on how tight you tie the string, or is it purely decorative?

Thanks!

The loafers from Carmina, is it Goodyear or blake?

I know it's been mentioned before but if I wear Carmina Forest and Inca lasts in UK8 (perfect fit) and Rain in 8UK (very loose heel) should I get loafers on Uetam in 7.5UK or 8UK?

cheers

All shoes that we carry from Carmina are Goodyear welted.

I never realized how badly I wanted something in museum calf.

Ugh so tempted by the Adelaide, I just wish it had one more line of broguing around the heel like the AS Moore or G&G St. James II.

I actually think it would look too busy with a heel cap. Because the Adelaide curves back longer than on a normal Adelaide, this provides better balance. On the St. James it makes more sense.
