Enzo Bonafé Adelaide GMTO is a go, please follow this link for details and payment:

Leaves will this be on the regular 946 or the 946 MOD?

Great, thanks. Is it possible to add rubber/metal toe taps (at cost)?

No, not on a GMTO.

Leaves will this be on the regular 946 or the 946 MOD?

There is only one version of the 946 last as far as I know. I think you are referring to the 363 last.

I am going to stay away from this GMTO. There seems to be a great deal of confusion regarding Bonafes lasts.

I have a pair of Bonafe wholecut on 946 last in size 10.5 and they are tad bit long for me and that is why I am selling them.

I also have Individual MTO chukka on 946 last in size 10 and these have very tight and low instep and vamp area. The box in which these chukkas came was marked with words MOD so I was under impression that this is modified 946 last where instep and vamp area has been tightened.

It is unfortunate but 363, 2102 and now 946 are just not meant for my feet.

I will wait until I can try other bonafe lasts.

The MOD marked on the pair you are mentioning (a Chukka in Burgundy, right?) is there because it's a modified model 3403, not that the last is modified.

I'm sorry to hear that you have not found an ideal Bonafé last for yourself. We find that the 946 is actually the easiest of mentioned lasts to fit. All feet are unique but most people find it fits close to Rain.

Yes indeed it was burgundy chukka. Thank you for clarifications because there was a lot of confusion regarding Bonafe lasts.

Sorry to hear that didn't work for you. That was one of a few Bonafe's I came close to ordering. Unfortunately I can't help you though, that one would be to small for me.

Well I made it work with a lot of stretching. This experience has made me thinking that 946 last on chukka is made purposely with somewhat lower instep and vamp as chukka lacing is around the ankle not around the instep.

It is what it when you ordering online you have to be able to take hit here and there so I will go for this adelaide if it does not work I guess I will make someone on this forum happy.

So true, online may not be perfect but for the most part it's worked for me. Besides online ordering allows me to get things I never would have the opportunity to if not being able to order online. Sounds like you were able to get them to work for you. Good deal, they certainly looked like great looking chukka on Soaks website.

Very tempted to try the 890 with the nightshade Laughton. Too many oxfords/bals right now for me, so there may have to be sacrifices.

I assume that Shannon ETA is for the first batch of orders?

Newbury would have been appealing although black would compete with the G&G Sinatra and I think the latter has sharper lines.

The Laughton sould be interesting to see!
