Hi, just wondering if there is any chance you will restock the Carmina Balmoral Boot in Grain Combo in the near future.

Thanks

Absolutely, for the coming fall season it will be restocked. Please e-mail us and we'll notify you when they arrive back in stock.

New currency converter has now moved from beta to live version. If you chose a currency outside the EU, prices will automatically be shown without VAT, I hope this makes sense? Also, we have only added our largest export market's currencies; we're planning to add Australian dollar and Russian ruble soon though as these are also large markets for us.

Leaves........how does the rate get calculated? Are you using a blended average or is the rate being populated by a real-time feed of some sort? Only asking because rates fluctuate daily.

It's a real-time feed, so it should be very well updated, but the currency exchange rate converter are estimates and used for guidance only. As mentioned in "about us" and the check out section, we still charge everything in SEK (Swedish Krona) and the final exchange rate will be decided by your bank.

Any chance of CHF?

Not at the moment, Switzerland is still a very small market for us. We import more from than we export to Switzerland (Burgol). :)

Lot's of talk on Carmina and EG - and they certainly are all gorgeous! I really am intrigued by the Bonafe shoes - how does the sizing run for example on the 2102 last (TTS, narrow?)?

What is generally true for all the Bonafé lasts are that they have a generous instep compared to many other makers. Here's a slight comparison for my sizes:

Carmina Rain: UK 11
Carmina Forest: UK 11.5
Carmina Simpson: UK 11.5
Edward Green: UK 11.5 F (82, 888, 606)
Gaziano & Girling: UK 11.5 F (all lasts except TG73 where I have to wear UK 12 F and I often wear UK 12 F for all boot models from G&G)
Enzo Bonafé 363: UK 11.5
Enzo Bonafé 363 MOD: UK 11
Enzo Bonafé 2102: UK 11
Enzo Bonafé 946: UK 11

Note that the Bonafé 363 MOD last is a new, slightly modified last that we are offering this season. It's easier to fit than the normal 363 last because most people can wear the same size as they use for Carmina Rain size in 363 MOD. It is very similar to the 363 last as you might imagine but it's slightly wider in the toe box. Please see this picture to illustrate the difference. The 363 to the right and 363 MOD to the left, you can see the difference where the last has been built up a little around the little toe area.

Thank you.

I don't have any Carmina shoes/sizing experience but this is what I do have experience with:

C&J 348 Lowndes Dbl Monk 9.5UK (snug at first, now very comfortable)
C&J 348 Tetbury Chukka 10UK
C&J 335 Skye 10UK
C&J RL Marlow 10.5US
C&J Lindrick Boot 10.5US (think these are 10UK equivalents)
Santoni Ltd 11US
Vass U 44 (snug like the Lowndes Dbl Monk above, but oxfords lace up without a V - perhaps I have a regular/low instep?)

I definitely have to get some Carminas as well (EG Beaulieu Austerity Brogues look fantastic as well!)
